Former U.S. President Donald Trump is leveraging his digital asset ventures to engage with his core base, hosting a private dinner for supporters who invested in his “Mugshot Edition” NFT collection.
According to Axios, the event at Mar-a-Lago was exclusively for individuals who purchased more than 47 NFTs, each priced at $99. These digital assets utilize the mugshot from Trump’s 2023 arrest, further blending political narrative with blockchain-based collectibles.
The presidential candidate had reportedly complained outside of court that he'd rather be campaigning than being in a trial he described as a "hoax."
